When it comes to marketing, I love when people have DOPE concepts to get their point across. 2 Chainz and his Street Execs team definitely get mad props this week as 2 Chainz hosts a private listening session for his Trapavelli Tre mixtape, but also creates a pop up shop clothing store on Peter St. that was made to be a 3 story trap house. The 3 Live Krew, Travis Porter releases a new music video for their song, “Faster” and it is everything a ‘Twerk’ love can dream of. Going back to their club roots the trio takes you to the military to the White House where women are getting down continuously through out the video. Showing you how low they can go and even will have you stating to yourself, “I don’t think she can twerk any faster that!”. Rap trio Travis Porter were ready to rumble at their 3 Live Krew Mixtape Listening Party. The New 2 Live Crew gathered in a boxing ring full of twerkers in the middle of the Street Execs Studios basketball court/parking lot, and put on a show for all the people that came out to support the new mixtape.
On February 23rd, Street Execs/Paper Route Empire‘s and South Memphis’ own, Young Dolph, set the city of Atlanta on fire as he held a listening event for his mixtape, “High Class Street Music 5 (The Plug Best Friend)”. Held at Harlem Nights, one of Atlanta’s hottest nightclubs, Young Dolph brought the entire city in the cold and windy weather. DJ’d by DJ Mook and with over 500 guest in attendance, which included fans, trap stars, DJ, media and many more, Young Dolph gave an exclusive listening as other music industry mogul supported for the night. Last night was epic as Street Execs & T.R.U. Foundation presented the 5th Annual Christmas Charity Concert in Atlanta , GA. Hosted by comedian DC Young Fly and Emmanuel Hudson of Archive Entertainment, the crowd was definitely entertained as the two cracked jokes, take chances with black people and stage dive. LOL! and more. As always the event was a huge success as many came out for the event and got to see major acts perform all for the price of bringing an unwrapped toy for children in need. On Monday, November 24th, Street Execs turned the Masquerade in to the trap house of the city as many of elite hood/trap artist of the south hit the stage with Memphis’ own Young Dolph for the “Dope Boy Riot” concert. Hosted by comedian DJ Young Fly with hood legend Bigga Rankin with DJ Mook, DJ Iceberg, DJ E Sudd and more on the 1’s and 2’s, this event featured artist such as 2 Chainz, Young Dolph, Travis Porter, Runway Richie, Tracy T, Lucci, Skooly, Trouble, Cap 1, Bankroll Fresh, Khaotic, Shawty Lo and more!
